From a very young age, I was always encouraged to be active and try new things. Working out has continued to be a large part of who I am and something I truly enjoy. Growing up I was told I am great at working with children and explaining things in a simple manner. This naturally led to me becoming a teacher. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies followed a few years later by a Master’s degree in Health Education both from Texas A&M University. It seemed only fitting that I combine my passion for working out and teaching to become a coach. I love CrossFit because it is a community of people from all walks of life and various fitness levels working towards the same goal of leading a healthier life. I am proud to be someone that others will allow to help them reach their goals.
