About Me: Fitness has always been a huge part of my life. I grew up playing sports and I
always knew I really wanted to do something athletic related with my career. I served in
the Marine Corps for 4 years from 2005-2009. Once I left the Marine Corps, I began my
college career that ended with me graduating from Texas A&M University with a
bachelor’s degree in Finance. I love and have a passion for coaching, helping and guiding
people so I am living my dream job at Crossfit Be Someone. But my greatest love in the
world is my daughter Myla.

About Me: From a very young age, I was always encouraged to be active and try new
things. Working out has continued to be a large part of who I am and something I truly
enjoy. Growing up I was told I am great at working with children and explaining things in
a simple manner. This naturally led to me becoming a teacher. I received my Bachelor’s
degree in Interdisciplinary Studies followed a few years later by a Master’s degree in
Health Education both from Texas A&M University. It seemed only fitting that I combine
my passion for working out and teaching to become a coach. I love CrossFit because it is
a community of people from all walks of life and various fitness levels working towards
the same goal of leading a healthier life. I am proud to be someone that others will
allow to help them reach their goals.

About Me: Growing up I played sports because I enjoy competition, but after college the
competitive aspect was absent and I found myself out of shape. My wife found CrossFit
four years before I gave-in and joined her. I fell in love with the community and never
looked back. I am an Engineer with multiple degrees (University of Texas, University of
Houston, The Ohio State University) and the measurable, observable, and repeatable
aspects of CrossFit WODs appeal to my inner Engi-nerd. I enjoy breaking down and
simplifying complex movements and incorporate this into my coaching where I aim to
help our members achieve their goals inside and outside our box.

About Me: I began my foray into strength and conditioning while serving on active duty in the
Marine Corps from 2004-2009. There I was exposed to both CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting.
As a coach I always enjoy having to find new ways to teach athletes. In CrossFit there is a
community model very similar to the military and I enjoy the bare bones aspect of fitness. In
Weightlifting, the competitive nature of the sport keeps me constantly evolving the ways that I
develop athletes.

About Me: I was always an athlete growing up. Through playing sports, I found my love of competition, pushing myself to improve, and the bonds that come from building each other up and having a common goal. It’s because of this that I have such a passion for my job and for CrossFit.

About four years ago, I started going to CrossFit and decided to switch my career, and it completely changed my life for the better. I now teach and coach high school volleyball and golf. I find it incredibly rewarding and I absolutely love my job. The community that comes with CrossFit is what truly won me over. It was with the support of others around me that I saw true and genuine changes in my body, physically and mentally. I believe in the process, the mentality, and the community of CrossFit and am so excited to combine that passion with my love of coaching to help others find ways to transform their own lives for the better.
