In a perfect world, everyone would do RX. But we don’t live in a perfect world and that is ok. Everyone is on their own fitness journey and everyone has their own abilities.
Be proud of where you are. Where you currently are is where you are supposed to be. Where you currently are is where you will grow from.
One way of growing properly inside of our gym is to scale to meet the stimulus. If we meet the stimulus a couple of great things will happen.
You will learn to move with more intensity. You will lose more body fat. You will gain more muscle mass. You will get fitter. You will get stronger. You will develop you skills. You will find yourself possibly doing some RX workouts in the future.
But most importantly, you will increase your work capacity.
And that is the ultimate reason why we will scale you. We want you to be able to do more work safe, efficient and effective. We want you to do more work quicker.
If you can RX a workout and meet the stimulus, go for it! If not, it’s ok! Scale the workout, meet the stimulus and you’ll still be a badass CrossFitter.
