Most of our days, we are slouching over as we work on our laptop.
If it's not our laptop, we are slouching over as we use our phone to text or to use social media.
We slouch when we sit or lay on the couch. Some of us slouch while we drive our car or stand in line.
What I am getting at is that all of us slouch during the day.
What this leads to is bad posture and a VERY tight thoracic.
Having a tight thoracic can lead to us impinging our shoulders as we lift weights above our head. This is not a good feeling at all.
Having a tight thoracic leads to poor mechanics which leads to us not lifting the weights we desire. This leads to us not getting as strong as we want to.
A tight thoracic means possible shoulder injury and not getting as strong as you want.
This is why it is SUPER important we stretch it out.
