Roger Tavira and Jocelyn Paredes. We can all agree that these two individuals bring something special to our gym. It was hard to choose just one so we have Co-Members of the Year.
I want to congratulate both of these athletes very much! In order to obtain member of the year they had to have shown consistency in everything that CrossFit Be Someone is about. They practice our core values, take part in goal reviews, do monthly challenges, participate in gym events, take part in gym clinics, say hi to everyone, post on SugarWOD, fist bump athletes, take the time to work on their goals, don’t make excuses or complain, check in via our iPad, show up consistently to the gym and overall have fun when they are at the gym. It’s not easy doing everything that we ask for but these two athletes have done that.
It’s amazing what happens when you are consistent. It’s amazing what happens when you practice humble, hungry and people smart. It’s amazing what happens when you take the time to work on your goals. It’s amazing what happens when you say hi first. I’ve been very impressed to see these two athletes evolve this year. All of their hard work has paid off and will continue to pay off.
I really want to thank these two athletes for taking in what we say at the gym and putting it into practice. I really to say thank you that even when your busy or days are long, you’re both here. I really want to say thank you for welcoming our new athletes the moment you see them. I appreciate your trust as athletes and for being complete ambassadors for CrossFit Be Someone.
Again congratulations to Roger and Jocelyn!
Regards,
Josh Melendez
