How we treat people, what we do to people and how we make them feel is not forgotten. The Golden Rule is life is, “Do on to others as you would have them do unto you”.
I am forever grateful and I am not able to thank Michael and Neema enough for what they did for me 2 years ago in 2018. 2017 was a very tough year for me mentally, physically and emotionally and they knew this. So in 2018, Michael and Neema meal prepped for me for over 4 months out of the kindness of their heart. At that moment, I was everywhere with my nutrition. I needed help and they offered their help without asking anything in return. I learned a lot about nutrition from them during that time but I learned even more of the people they are.
I can’t tell you the exact details of our interactions during that time frame but I can definitely tell you how they made me feel. I will never forget that and I am forever grateful. We all have the ability to make a HUGE impact on people’s life by simply how we treat them and what we do for them.
Do you need to meal prep for someone to make an impact in their life? No. You can keep it simple and start small. Listen to them when they talk or say hi to them or have lunch with them or go for a walk with them or just remind them you’re there for them.
Be impactful with your words. Be impactful with your actions. Be impactful because you have the ability to change someones life.
Respectfully,
Josh Melendez
