The thing about receiving feedback is this, it's useless if we don't put it into action.
This past weekend I had the pleasure of receiving feedback from a few of our members. One of the feedback was about our Habit Reviews.
Based on the feedback I received about the Habit Reviews it was important we make an immediate change to it. Why? The value was not being seen.
So what is the change? We are still going to meet every 90 days with our group training athletes but we are going to call it Athlete Check-In instead of Habit Reviews.
The last thing I want is for anyone to show up to meet with their coach with a sense of anxiety or feeling bad. I want you to look forward to meeting with your coach.
So know this, the Athlete Check-In is exactly that, a check-in. We want to make sure you are doing well. That is the most important thing. When you meet with your coach, this is a moment for us to connect with you and have a conversation. If the topic of goals or habits comes up, let's talk about it. If the topic of any of our services comes up, let's talk about it. If you would like to do an InBody Scan, let's do one. If you just want to talk about your weekend, let's hear about it. If you want to talk about your work, we are all ears. If you want to talk about yesterday's workout, let's discuss. If you have any additional feedback you want us to hear, please tell us.
The Athlete Check-In is your time. Again, the most important thing is we want to make sure you are doing well and that we are helping you the best way we can.
Your coaches are here for you, never forget that. As Coach Mike and Coach Neema like to sign off on their nutrition emails, we are in your corner.
We look forward to meeting with you for your Athlete Check-Ins and we hope you do to! Remember we can meet in person at the gym, over the phone, facetime or even outside the gym (let's go for a drink or coffee!).
Regards,
Josh Melendez
